The international insurance arm of Arch Capital Group has announced the appointment of Tom Rivers as Chief Risk Officer, a role he recently held at AXIS Managing Agency.
Rivers brings 20 years’ experience to Arch Insurance International, a career that spans enterprise risk management, corporate actuarial and risk management roles.
His time at AXIS Managing Agency lasted nearly five years; prior to that, he was CRO Novae Group and a senior actuary at PwC.
“Tom is a highly respected authority on risk management,” said Hugh Sturgess, CEO of Arch Insurance International.
“His extensive experience in embedding robust risk cultures and using a holistic view of landscape to guide strategic-level risk decisions is a welcome addition to our senior management team.
