Ardonagh unveils NA Reinsurance team led by ex-RFIB CEO Foden-Pattinson

Ardonagh Specialty, the holding company and growth platform for The Ardonagh Group’s portfolio of specialist, reinsurance and wholesale broking brands, has announced the appointment of a North America Reinsurance team.

The Ardonagh GroupThe new team is set to operate via Equinox (Re)insurance Intermediaries which is licensed in Connecticut, and will be led by Nick Foden-Pattinson.

Foden-Pattinson brings extensive experience in the establishment of alternative reinsurance solutions to clients in North America, having previously served as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of RFIB Americas.

As President of Equinox (Re)insurance Intermediaries, Foden-Pattinson will work alongside Roland Pike in his role as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Additionally, Foden-Pattinson will serve as President of Price Forbes Bermuda.

The need for specialty advice has never been more necessary as we head into a hard and difficult market. I believe the model that we are setting up will be an attractive option for clients and markets alike,” said Foden-Pattinson.

The new Reinsurance team in North America will also be supported by a team of brokers, risk modellers and technicians based in London and Greenwich, Connecticut. The London team will be led by Jeremy Brasier with support from Tony Key.
