Argo Group International Holdings, an international underwriter of specialty insurance and reinsurance products, has appointed Katie Partington Howarth as Group Head of Ceded Reinsurance.
Partington Howarth will now be responsible for leading the strategy and implementation of Argo Group’s reinsurance buying for all business lines worldwide.
She joins Argo from Ariel Re, where she most recently served as Head of Underwriting Risk, having held a succession of senior roles at the company since its formation in 2005.
Her 15-year career in the reinsurance industry also includes four years at Benfield as a risk analyst and broker, specialising in Property Catastrophe and Worker’s Compensation treaty business.
