Lloyd’s insurer and member of Argo Group, ArgoGlobal, has appointed Elizabeth Mitchell, who joins from a role as oil and gas underwriter with Munich Re, to onshore energy underwriter with immediate effect.
Mitchell will report to Jodi Davenport, Class Underwriter, onshore and downstream energy, who welcomed her to the role; “Elizabeth is a highly talented underwriter who has demonstrated a level of expertise and commercial acumen that sets her apart.
“She has consistently sought to develop an in-depth knowledge of insureds and to forge lasting broker relationships. Her appointment will enhance our existing expertise.
“We have a truly exceptional team, offering a comprehensive suite of energy products, and we are well placed to develop our book in response to changes in the rating environment. I am very pleased to welcome Elizabeth to ArgoGlobal.”
Elizabeth brings nearly a decade of underwriting experience to ArgoGlobal. Prior to working with Munich Re, she held the role of assistant underwriter, renewable energy at GCube Underwriting Limited.
She began her underwriting career at Argenta Syndicate Management.
