Risk management company Astaara has employed three new senior members of staff as part of the company’s expansion.
Victoria Knowles has joined as Chief of Staff, while Asti Rogers and Gemma Smyth take on the roles of Head of Operations and Head of Analytics.
Knowles has over 20 years of experience in administration across the property, public relations and insurance sectors. Her previous roles include national advertising coordinator and PA to C-suite executives in a cross-section of industries.
Smyth obtains a background in risk and reinsurance and has worked for the last 10 years in catastrophe analytics for Lloyd’s syndicates. She is experienced in catastrophe modelling, developing methodologies for assessing and aggregating cyber risk in the marine sector.
Rogers has spent over 10 years working in the London Insurance Market, initially in project management before migrating into operations in 2015. Her last three roles have all focused on developing the operation function at new start-ups, including Lloyd’s syndicates and MGAs.
