AXA XL, the property & casualty and specialty risk division of AXA, has named David Watson as Senior Underwriter, Political Risk, Credit & Bond (PRCB), UK & Lloyd’s market.
In his new role with AXA XL, Watson takes on responsibility for helping to deliver the strategic and profitable growth of the company’s PRCB book in the UK.
He will also be tasked with establishing and developing relationships with key brokers and clients in the marketplace.
Watson joins from AXIS Capital, where he started his career in the insurance industry in 2013 within the re/insurer’s terrorism and political violence team. He was later promoted to senior underwriter and in 2017, joined the Capital Risks Solutions team.
