AXA XL, the property and casualty specialty risk division of AXA, has appointed Rana Gillmon to the newly created role of Head of Private Equity Client Relations, Americas.
The role aims to provide dedicated support and advance the risk management needs of private equity clients. In her new role, Gillmon will lead AXA XL’s private equity client engagement across the Americas.
She will use her sector experience and strong industry network to serve as the primary contact for AXA XL’s private equity clients, staying closely aligned with their risk strategies and operational needs.
Additionally, Gillmon will work with AXA XL’s regional and global underwriting teams to deliver tailored insurance solutions and support private equity firms to manage insurance across their portfolios.
Gillmon has over 25 years of industry experience, having joined AXA XL in 2022 from Chubb, where she served as a Global Client Executive and managed key client relationships in the North America Major Accounts Division.
Before this, she spent 16 years at Marsh, holding several key roles, including Portfolio Manager in the firm’s Private Equity Mergers & Acquisitions Group.
In the past, Gillmon has also worked with multinational corporations and global programs in Dubai, where she led Marsh’s team for incoming multinational business and oversaw placements and partnerships with local markets across the Gulf Cooperative Council (GCC) region.
