AXA XL, the property & casualty and specialty risk division of AXA, has appointed Tonia Morgan as CFO Reinsurance Bermuda.
She joined the company in 2018 as Manager Financial Reporting and Analysis for Alternative Capital before being appointed Head of Finance Reinsurance and Alternative Capital in 2020, her most recent role.
Prior to AXA XL she spent over two years as a Senior Accountant at Aeolus Capital Management, almost three years as quota shares Accounting Manager at Hiscox and almost five years as Assistant Vice president, Corporate Reporting at Validus.
Morgan has also held positions at XL Capital, and Aon Insurance Managers Bermuda.
She has over two decades of relevant experience, her specialties include Insurance Linked Securities, Alternative Capital, Sidecars, SEC reporting, BMA statutory reporting, consolidations, MD&A, XBRL implementations, insurance and reinsurance accounting, among others.
AXA XL has also recently announced the appointment of Cheri Hanes as VP and Head of Innovation and Sustainability for its North America Construction Insurance business. Stephanie Coxall was also recently named Head of Underwriting Management, UK & Lloyd’s.
