AXIS Re, the reinsurance business segment of AXIS Capital Holdings Limited, has announced the appointment of Alexander Riveros as Senior Underwriter, Credit & Surety.
In this role, Riveros will be responsible for covering the Latin American market, helping to drive portfolio goals for credit & surety, and to foster partnerships with clients and brokers.
He joins AXIS Re following over 25 years in the Latin American re/insurance industry, having most recently served as a Senior Surety Underwriter at Markel International.
From his new Zurich-based role, Riveros will report directly to Camilo Rodriguez, Head of International Credit & Surety at AXIS Re.
