Property and casualty insurance holding company Baldwin & Lyons, Inc. has appointed Steven J. Bensinger, of TigerRisk Partners, LLC, to the firms Board of Directors.
Bensinger brings more than 40 years of experience in insurance and reinsurance at executive levels to Baldwin & Lyons.
Currently, Bensinger is a Partner & Senior Advisor at TigerRisk Partners, LLC, a reinsurance broking, risk capital and strategic advisory.

Before joining TigerRisk, Bensinger worked as a Senior Managing Director of Global Insurance Services at FTI Consulting and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for The Hanover Insurance Group.
During his career he has also spent six years with insurance giant American International Group, Inc., in a variety of leadership positions including Senior Vice President, Treasurer and Controller and served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from March 2005 until October 2008. He has also held roles at Chartwell Re Corporation, Trenwick Group Ltd., Skandia America Corporation and Combined Specialty Group, Inc.
Bensinger also sits on the Board of Directors and acts as Chair of the Finance Committee of the International Insurance Society.
