Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI), the insurance arm of Warren Buffett’s global insurance and reinsurance company, has announced the appointment of Nikki Nagra as Head of Casualty Claims in the UK.
Nagra comes to BHSI with more than two decades of claims management experience, and has spent the previous 16 years in various senior claims roles at AIG.
In her most recent role at AIG she was UK Motor Claims Manager, although her career also included leadership roles handling casualty and disease claims.
Going forward, she will be based out of BHSI’s office in Manchester, where she will help to establish a senior claims presence and reinforce the company’s commitment to the city.
“Nikki’s expertise and leadership experience span a broad range of third party claims,” said Andrew Walker, Head of Claims in Europe, BHSI.
“And we’re delighted to welcome her to our claims leadership team,” Walker added. “Nikki’s technical knowledge and customer focus further strengthens our determination to deliver the service excellence that underpins our CLAIMS IS OUR PRODUCT® philosophy, throughout the UK and Europe.”
