Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI), the insurance arm of Warren Buffett’s global insurance and reinsurance company, has expanded its presence in Australia with the launch of a new office in Adelaide.
In connection with the launch, BHSI has appointed Monica Holland as Underwriting Manager for South Australia.
In this role, Holland will work closely with BHSI’s team in Melbourne to deliver the company’s full range of product offerings, including property, liability, executive & professional lines, marine, accident & health, and healthcare.
In addition to her duties as Underwriting Manager, Holland will also serve as Casualty Manager for South Australia.
She brings nearly 25 years of industry experience to BHSI joins from Chubb Insurance Australia, where she spent the previous 17 years as a State Manager and Distribution Manager.
