BGC Insurance Group (BGCI), a division of BGC Partners Inc., has announced the addition of Mark Costin to its new global aviation and space re/insurance brokerage.
Costin joins BGCI from Marsh JLT Specialty, where he served as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for its Aviation and Aerospace division.
He arrived at Marsh in 2002, having previously worked at Willis Towers Watson.
Now, Costin will take up a new position as Senior Partner at BGCI’s new brokerage, starting in his role on completion of notice period obligations.
He will work alongside President Marcel Chad and CEO Philip Smaje, whose appointments were announced by BGCI in June and July, respectively.
