Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has announced that Paul Emerson is assuming the additional role of Head of Customer & Broker Engagement in Canada.
Currently, Emerson serves as Senior Vice President, Head of Third-Party Claims, Canada, and will retain that role as well.
BHSI has confirmed that in his dual roles, Emerson will report to Robert Romeo, Head of Claims, North America, while working closely with Lori Spoon and the global Customer and Broker Engagement team.
He will continue to be based in Toronto.
Emerson joined the firm in 2015 as Vice President, Liability Claims, and was later promoted to lead third-party claims in Canada.
Throughout his 20 plus year career within the industry, he has also previously served as a practicing attorney specializing in liability defense litigation.
