Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI), a provider of commercial property, casualty, executive, and professional lines insurance, has announced its entry into the UK Programmes business with the appointment of Rob Munden as Head of Programmes, UK.
In his new role, Munden will be responsible for building and overseeing BHSI’s Programmes business in the UK, leveraging the company’s extensive underwriting expertise across various lines including property, casualty, marine, executive and professional lines, as well as accident and health insurance.
Munden will also play a pivotal role in supporting BHSI’s broader European operations, assisting in the development and expansion of its Programme capabilities throughout Europe.
With 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, Munden brings a wealth of knowledge in the Programs space, along with established relationships with managing general agents (MGAs). Before joining BHSI, he most recently served as the Chief Executive Officer of a specialist MGA.
