BMS Re US adds Jonah Pfeffer as Chief Casualty Officer

Specialist re/insurance broker BMS Group has appointed Jonah Pfeffer as Chief Casualty Officer at BMS Re US.

bms-logoEffective immediately, Pfeffer will report to Pete Chandler, president and Chief Executive of BMS Re US, and focus on the strategic direction of BMS’ casualty offering.

He joins with 23 years’ experience and most recently served as president of reinsurance at OneBeacon Insurance Group.

Prior to that, Pfeffer spent more than 10 years at Guy Carpenter, having begun his reinsurance career at E.W. Blanch Company in 1997.

“We continue to invest in the development of our P&C Reinsurance Broking Team, and we are constantly on the lookout for market-leading individuals to join our growing division. Adding Jonah to lead our Casualty Practice will definitely strengthen the entirety of our Casualty offerings,” said Chandler.
