Independent broker network Brokerslink has established a new regional team to help drive growth and development opportunities for its broker partners and affiliates in Africa and through its international network.
It follows the launch of a new steering team for Europe earlier this week, also aimed at supporting the global expansion of the Brokerslink network.
The steering team for Africa includes representatives from across the continent, and is headed up by the new Regional Manager for Africa, Tiago Mora.
The team will work to identify opportunities to support business growth both domestically and internationally, as well as providing the Brokerslink network with access to local market expertise and experience.
“Africa is not a single market and our new team reflects this fact,” said Mora. “We believe that to be able to maximise the opportunities that exist across the continent it is essential to have access to local experts who understand their individual markets cultural and regulatory landscapes.”
He continued: “It is our aim to create a truly pan-African network that will support all our affiliates across the continent as well as provide more opportunities for the wider global network and our insurance partners to develop their business in the region.”
The development of a regional steering team in Africa follows the recent announcement of three new African affiliates to the Brokerslink network.
