Brown & Brown’s Q3 revenue improves to $770mn

Brown & Brown’s revenues for the third quarter of 2021 were $770.3 million, a $96.3 million increase from the prior year quarter.

Brown-Brown-LogoNet income increased $12.4 million to $146.4 million while commissions and fees increased 14.6%; organic Revenue was up 8.5% from the prior year quarter.

Income before income taxes for the third quarter was $196.5 million, an increase of $38.0 million, or 24.0%

Meanwhile, Brown & Brown has reported revenues of $2,312.9 million over the first 9 months of the year; increasing $341.6 million compared to the same period in 2020.

Net income for the same period was $485.4 million, increasing $102.2 million, or 26.7%.

J. Powell Brown, president and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, noted, “We are very pleased with our growth and profitability in the third quarter. Our dedicated teammates continue to deliver for our existing and prospective customers.”
