Independent insurance distribution firm BRP Group has bolstered the Japanese practice group within its middle-market indirect subsidiary, AHT Insurance.
Brian Murphy joins as co-practice leader with over three decades’ experience with a recent focus on global strategy and placements.
Hiro Ushikii, based in New Jersey, joins as co-practice leader and has more than three decades’ of industry experience mostly spent focused on global client and carrier alignments.
Collectively, Murphy and Ushiki bring over 60 years of experience serving Japanese clients and business interests, while building dedicated practice groups at the largest global insurance brokerage firms in the world.
Along with the remainder of the Japanese practice group, both hires will provide consultative solutions to multinational companies with expertise in implementing global service strategies.
