CAC Specialty hires André Eichenholtz to lead Portfolio Solutions group

CAC Specialty, the specialty insurance brokerage and investment banking platform recently established by Cobbs Allen, has announced the appointment of André S. Eichenholtz as leader of its Portfolio Solutions group.

CAC SpecialtyEichenholtz joins CAC Specialty from JLT Specialty, where he formerly worked as Head of M&A Diligence.

He brings more than 30 years’ of brokerage experience and has previously built two private equity M&A practices.

Prior to JLT Specialty, he helped start a boutique insurance brokerage which specialised in Private Equity M&A transactions.

“The addition of yet another industry veteran speaks to the timeliness of CAC Specialty’s creation,” said CAC Specialty President Bruce Denson Jr. “This is the right time for a new insurance brokerage platform to once again refocus on client service and innovation.”

Under Eichenholtz’s leadership, the Portfolio Solutions team will work to provide diligence and portfolio efficiencies for the firm’s sponsor clients.

The team will also work closely with CAC’s Financial Sponsor Practice, including the Private Capital Finance & Structured Risk Solutions teams to provide unparalleled solutions for M&A clients.

“I am thrilled to be a part of the CAC Specialty team as we build a truly unique platform for our clients that was previously unavailable in the marketplace,” Eichenholtz commented.

The Portfolio Solutions team currently includes Greg Henkin, Art Morgenstein Evamarie Sciammetta and Will Johnson on the placement and client service side, and Ross Rodefeld, Katrin Haynes and Vara Pikor for Diligence Project Management.

CAC Specialty said that further team additions are set to be announced over the next several weeks.

Earlier this month, CAC Specialty announced the appointment of Michael D. Rice II as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
