Chubb appoints Goldman as Executive VP of Overseas General Insurance

Property and Casualty (P&C) insurer Chubb has announced the appointment of Steven F. Goldman as Executive Vice President (VP), Financial Lines for Overseas General Insurance, effective July 1.

Steve GoldmanIn his new New York-based role, Goldman will oversee Chubb’s international financial lines division including directors and officers liability, financial institutions, errors and omissions, transactional risk and cyber risk businesses.

He will report to Timothy O’Donnell, who was recently named VP, Chubb Group and Division President, Commercial P&C, Overseas General Insurance.

Goldman brings with him two decades’ underwriting and risk management experience and is currently Executive VP of Chubb’s Financial Lines division in the U.S. where he leads the Retail Financial Institutions segment. He also leads Chubb’s Transactional Risk business, a division he helped create and has led since its inception.

Commenting on Goldman’s appointment, O’Donnell, said, “Steve is a highly experienced financial lines executive. He has excellent technical underwriting and leadership skills and I am very much looking forward to working with him as we grow Chubb’s international financial lines presence and capability.”

Michael Mollica, who has been named Executive Vice President of Financial Lines, North America, will succeed Goldman. Mollica has more than 20 years of industry experience and now will be based in New York, reporting to Scott Meyer, Division President, Financial Lines, North America.
