Aon has appointed Colin Harper as Managing Director, Alternative Risk Transfer and Innovation within its Strategic Solutions and Innovation Practice based in Houston, Texas.
Harper joins Aon from Descartes Underwriting, where he spent the previous year as Senior Business Development Manager, North America, also based in Houston.
Prior to this, he worked for more than four years at Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, first as an Assistant Vice President, and then as a Vice President and Business Development Manager for the Ohio Valley and US South Central.
He also has more than five years’ experience at Chubb, having joined the company as an Underwriter in 2011, before moving on to become a Risk Consultant and then a Business Manager.
