Pan-African reinsurer Continental Reinsurance has announced the appointment of Grace Wanja as Head of Underwriting for its Nairobi subsidiary.
Wanja brings nearly 15 years of experience in the re/insurance industry. She joined Continental Re in October 2017 as part of the underwriting team, serving as Executive – Technical Operations.
In 2023, she was appointed to lead the company’s Business Development team, demonstrating her leadership capabilities and broad understanding of the business.
Prior to joining Continental Re, Wanja served as a Reinsurance Officer at Resolution Insurance Kenya and as a Reinsurance Underwriter at Clarkson Insurance Brokers Ltd.
In a recent LinkedIn post, Continental Re said, “Grace’s extensive expertise, professional qualifications, and cross-functional experience make her the perfect fit for this pivotal role.
