Damon Vocke, formerly the President of General Re Corporation and General Counsel, is to join the Duane Morris insurance practice, the global law firm has announced.
Most recently, Vocke led his own firm, Vocke Law Group, and along with partner Ronald Lepinskas and special counsel Mark Holton from the Vocke company, he joins the Duane Morris insurance industry practice, and will be working with the group nationally and particularly in New York.

Vocke, who is to be named Head, Corporate & Regulatory Litigation of the Insurance Division at Duane Morrise, commented; “With its national reputation in the insurance industry, Duane Morris offers my clients an optimal platform. As well as being President of General Re, Vocke was also Chairman of a Lloyd’s Syndicate, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of a German affiliate, and Chairman of United States Aviation Underwriters in New York.
Lepinskas will join the firm as a partner within its Chicago office, and before joining the Vocke firm was also at Gen Re. Holton will join the firm’s New York office as special counsel.
