Legacy acquirer DARAG Group has announced the completion of a portfolio transfer agreement of a worldwide reinsurance book.
The portfolio transfer was completed in May 2026 following DARAG’s acquisition of the entire portfolio from carrier Ambra Versicherung AG (Ambra), which operates internationally.
The transaction spans an underwriting period ranging from the 1970s to the 2010s and covers an international liability portfolio. The deal has received approval from BaFin.
