DeNexus names Víctor M. Aguilar VP of Sales EMEA region

Cyber risk modeller DeNexus, has appointed Víctor M. Aguilar as Vice President of Sales – Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

handshakeIn his new role, Aguilar will be tasked with extending the firm’s value proposition in the cyber risk quantification and management sphere to the United Kingdom, Europe, Middle East and Africa, according to the announcement.

He will be based in Lugano, Switzerland, where DeNexus opened an office in July this year. The firm also recently opened an office in London as part of its strategy to build out its cyber expertise in Europe.

Aguilar brings with him 15 years of experience in sales and engineering security for large industrial corporations.

He was most recently Regional Director, Iberia & Turkey at Nozomi Networks in the Ticino region of southern Switzerland for the last two years, after having joined the firm in 2018 as Sales Engineer. Prior to that, he was Security Consulting Engineer for EMEA at Cisco Systems.

Commenting on Aguilar’s appointment, DeNexus Founder & CEO Jose Seara said: “We are very excited to welcome Víctor to the DeNexus team. Additionally, in October this year DeNexus launched DeRISK 5.0 Platform, a new version of its data-driven cyber risk platform aimed to better quantify and manage risks associated with cyber breaches.
