Duck Creek continues to expand offerings in APAC region

P&C solutions provider, Duck Creek Technologies has announced the release of the first of many planned software packages and implementation accelerators localised for the New Zealand insurance market.

This release is part of the company’s continued investment and expansion in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.

According to the announcement, Duck Creek’s local offerings will be made available to all of its New Zealand customers via the company’s Solution Centre.

The first release includes the New Zealand Base Layer and the Geographic Format New Zealand accelerator, which will be available on the Content Exchange.

Duck Creek’s New Zealand base layer includes address block support for New Zealand across Policy, Party and Claims, IRD number field to Party demographics, and NZBN number field to Party demographic.

As well as bank account formats in line with New Zealand country requirements, and policy and billing rating structures. The latest are in line with Government Guidelines for goods and services tax, New Zealand Earthquake Commission and Fire and Emergency New Zealand.
