Global reinsurance broker Ed as announced the hiring of Henry Warner as Cyber Broker/Producer, effective immediately, and reporting to Divisional Director, Professional and Executive Risks (ProEx), James Baird.
He started his career with Marsh as a client advisor for both cyber and professional indemnity risks, and joins the firm from SafeOnline, where he was a cyber, media and technology broker.
In his new role, Warner will play an important role in the ongoing development of the reinsurance broker’s cyber book of business, as well as support the creation of a cyber centre of excellence.
Baird, commented on the appointment; “Henry is an excellent addition to our growing team. He has already made a name for himself in the cyber market based on his expertise and client focus. The introduction of GDPR in May, coupled with the increasingly visible impact of cyber-attacks on businesses, has heightened the need for robust and relevant cyber insurance cover.
