Ensurance UK Limited, a construction and engineering managing general agent (MGA) and Lloyd’s Coverholder, has launched a new combined construction liability product, backed by Faraday Syndicate 435 at Lloyd’s.
With this new offering, Ensurance UK expands a portfolio that already includes contractors all risk, contractors plant and equipment, homebuild, contractors’ legal expenses and engineering inspection.
The new combined liability product offers £10 million limits for employers liability and public/products liability, caters for environmental impairment, and complements Ensurance’s property and landowners’ liability product.
Tim James, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Ensurance UK, said: “Our goal is to provide a bespoke coverage capability to brokers for construction risk, making full use of the technical expertise we possess. In less than 18 months we’ve developed and brought a full suite of construction and engineering products to the UK market.
“I expect this rate of development to continue as we build on this expertise in the construction market and others in the near future.”
Roger Nash, Head of Employers and Public Liability at Faraday, added: “Faraday have chosen to work with Tim James and his team because of their reputation within the construction market, disciplined underwriting and the roadmap they have laid out for the future.”
Ensurance UK is a subsidiary of Australian parent company Ensurance Limited and was launched in 2016, gaining Lloyd’s Coverholder status the following year.
