Dubai Sigorta has appointed Fatih Ağacık as the company’s new General Manager.
Ağacık’s appointment follows VHV Reasürans’s recent acquisition of Dubai Sigorta.
Ağacık will start his new role after the necessary notifications are made to the authorised institution of the insurance industry, SEDDK.
Moreover, Ağacık started his career at VHV in 2012 as a Business Development Director at VHV Allgemeine’s Turkey Liaison Office, where he made significant contributions to the establishment of VHV Reasürans.
In addition, he has also been a member of the Board of Directors of VHV Reasürans and Deputy General Manager of Technical, Retrocession and Claims since 2015.
VHV Reasürans Chairman of the Board of Directors Sebastian Reddemann, commented on the appointment: “In order to facilitate the cultural transition as well as the integration of Dubai Sigorta into VHV group, Mr. Fatih Ağacık has been appointed as the new general manager as of September 1st . We believe that under his leadership and with its strong staff our company will further its standing in the Turkish insurance market in a short time.”
Ağacık, added: “I am very happy and honored to take on this new challenge. My main goal is stability and to build on the good team and solid foundation that was created in the past.”
