Fleming Re adds Martin Dolan to board

Run-off reinsurance provider Fleming Re has appointed Martin Dolan to its board as an independent non-executive director.

handshake-close-up-photoHe is due to take up this role at the end of this year, with an additional duty to assist in the strategic development of Flemming Re over the next several years.

Dolan has been a senior insurance banker for over 27 years and has been worked globally, including in Europe, the UK, Bermuda and the US.

He has served with Lloyds of London, Equitas, AIG and other various regulators which include the State of Wisconsin. He’s also worked as Senior insurance banker for AIG during the financial crisis, whilst also advising many Bermuda and onshore P&C companies.

His current position is at Dolan & Company, where he is the senior principle.

Stephen Minor, Chairman of Fleming Re, commented: “We are pleased to have Marty join us on the board. His deep cross‐border and legacy experience, backed by decades spent building relationships throughout the industry, will be a tremendous asset as we are preparing to diversify and scale Fleming Re.”
