Insurance and reinsurance broking group Gallagher has expanded its marine P&I team with several key appointments.
James Giles has been named Divisional Director. In his new role, he will be seconded to Gallagher Singapore, where he will work with the firm’s clients, support new regional offices, and focus on expanding its P&I client base and networks in Asia.
Giles joins Gallagher from London P&I Club, where he served for six years, most recently as Senior Underwriter. He previously worked as a Claims Adjuster at Steamship Insurance Management Services.
Allisha Hervey has joined as an Account Executive. She previously held the role of Underwriting Assistant at The American P&I Club.
Tilly Beveridge has been appointed Account Handler. Most recently, she gained experience as a Policy Research Intern at the British American Security Information Council and as a Data Analyst Intern at Newline Group.
These hires follow the earlier appointment of Leah Downing, who joined as Associate Director – Marine P&I.
Downing brings 30 years of industry experience to her role. She joined Gallagher from West, where she spent five years as Senior Underwriting Assistant (Manager). Her previous roles include Underwriting Assistant at London P&I Club and 24 years at Zodiac Maritime Limited.
