Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., an international insurance brokerage and risk management firm, has announced its acquisition of Mund Group, Ltd., a Texas-based agency specialising in employee benefits, with the financial details of the deal not disclosed.
Headquartered in New Braunfels, Mund Group advises businesses on employee benefits and provides consulting services covering health and welfare programmes. Gallagher said the acquisition will strengthen its employee benefits offering in Texas, supported by Mund Group’s established presence in the local market.
As part of the transaction, Jeff Mund, Brandon Mund, Kristopher Mund and the wider team will continue working from their existing location. Gallagher confirmed that the team will report to Leah Vetter, who leads employee benefits consulting operations across the company’s Central region.
