Global insurance broker Gallagher has relaunched its aviation insurance web portal Jacinth with enhancements to help clients drive efficiency and offer analytical insights on their risk profile.
Jacinth provides clients with an interconnected insurance management system.
It is able to track aircraft fleets in real time; provide detailed claim information and analysis; as well as dynamic premium feedback based on exposures.
Its functionality also includes documents and insurance certificates which can be downloaded instantly and comprehensive reporting tools to support risk assessments and insurance programme adjustments.
Gallagher explained that at the core of the updated Jacinth platform is its new smart capture technology, which allows risk managers to seamlessly input accurate, real-time asset data, such as aircraft information, directly into the platform.
It integrates this information with other data sources, most notably live aircraft transponder tracking. This process is also connected with insurers, opening up the possibility for dynamic pricing based on real-time exposures.
The platform is available as standard to aviation clients, Gallagher noted.
