Global reinsurance broker Gallagher Re has announced the addition of Andrew Geldart to its Australia and New Zealand team as Executive Director Broking.
Based in Sydney, Geldart joins the business with effect from December 2021.
He arrives from Vero Insurance, where he has spent the previous 16 years, most recently as Senior Property Specialist.
During his time at Vero, Geldart also held positions as Property, Engineering & Construction Manager NSW/ACT, NSW Property Underwriting Manager, and Senior Property Underwriter.
Prior to this, he spent more than four years at JLT Australia, first as a Senior Placement Marketing Executive and later as a Senior Account Executive.
Previously, Geldart also held roles including Property Underwriter and Claims Specialist at Gerling Global Insurance Corp.
