Gallagher Re, a global reinsurance brokerage and advisory firm, has announced the appointment of Andy Bush as Vice President, Facultative.
Based in Gallagher Re’s Chicago office, Bush’s appointment further strengthens the firm’s Casualty Facultative platform and Chicago presence.
He brings 14 years of insurance industry experience, including the past four years focused on reinsurance.
Bush has deep expertise across casualty and professional lines, strong market relationships throughout the Midwest, and extensive experience developing facility-based solutions.
He joins Gallagher Re from Gen Re, where he most recently served as a Senior Underwriting Specialist. Before that, he was Assistant Vice President – Casualty Facultative Senior Underwriter.
Prior to that, Bush spent seven years at CNA Insurance, most recently serving as an Underwriting Consultant. Earlier in his career, he was an Underwriting Service Specialist at Zurich Insurance.
