Gallagher Re has appointed Linda Purnama to lead its reinsurance proposition in Indonesia, this move is aimed to strengthen client relationships in the country and signifies another milestone for the reinsurer.
A well-known figure in the Asia-Pacific, Purnama brings to her new role over two decades of experience leading and developing reinsurance business in the region.
She joins Gallagher Re from Guy Carpenter, where she most recently served as Managing Director, covering both Vietnam and the Philippines, and based in Singapore.
Prior to this, Purnama was a Senior Client Manager at Munich Re, where she strengthened their portfolio in Indonesia and the Philippines.
In her new position, she will be reporting to Mark O’Brien, Regional Director and Head of South East Asia, Korea & Taiwan, who commented: “We are thrilled to welcome Linda to Gallagher Re. Indonesia continues to be a strong focus for us as we look to draw on Linda’s knowledge of developing reinsurance business to continue building a strong portfolio in the region.”
