Gen Re, a reinsurance company and a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, has promoted Amanda Granville to Chief Underwriter, National and Multinational Treaty and Marc Nerenberg to Chief Underwriter, Regional and Specialty.
Granville began her career in 2010 as an actuary, deepening her expertise across Specialty Markets and the Global Clients Casualty Treaty team at Munich Re. She joined Gen Re in 2018 and has since built deep expertise in the National client space.
Nerenberg has served at Gen Re for nearly 25 years, holding several senior leadership roles, including Chief Reserving Actuary for North America P&C and Pricing Manager for North America Treaty.
Most recently, he served as the Chief Underwriter of the National and Multinational unit, where he built and guided an exceptional team and left behind a strong legacy.
