AXA has announced that Gilles Moëc is to join from Bank of America Merrill Lynch as its new Group Chief Economist, effective June 3rd, 2019.
Currently the Chief European Economist of Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Moëc’s new position will see him report to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM), Andrea Rossi.
In his new role, he will be responsible for the development of top-tier models, as well as views and research analysis on important global economic trends and for shaping the company’s economic outlook.
Moëc will also be tasked with providing research on the macroeconomic financial landscape and market trends, which will be integrated across the investment strategies of AXA IM.
