Atrium, a specialty insurance group at Lloyd’s, has announced the appointment of a new Strategic Distribution team to be led by Chance Gilliland as Group Head and Maureen Higgins as Deputy Group Head.
The newly formed team will look for growth opportunities arising from both established and emerging sources, using established relationships within the Atrium network alongside other key strategic channels.
Working closely with John Fowle, CEO, Hayley Maynard, Chief Strategy Officer, and the wider Atrium team, Gilliland and Higgins will focus on expanding key relationships, supporting product and distribution innovation, including emerging trends in distribution.
Gilliland joined Atrium following six years at Chaucer, where he led the growth of their Global Property Binders account. Prior to that, he worked at Chubb for a decade writing US property binder business in London and the US.
Higgins joined the company from RenaissanceRe, where she spent 17 years working on their US property book in both London and Bermuda.
