Great American Insurance Group has promoted Elizabeth M. Shepherd to Divisional President, Cyber Risk.
Shepherd joined Great American in 2018 as a Divisional Senior Vice President, where she played a key role in consolidating the company’s cyber risk products and programs.
Within the role, she oversees the firm’s cyber initiatives and existing cyber underwriting operations. At the same time, Shepherd also coordinates product management and the development of all cyber risk products.
Overall, Shepherd brings 33 years of industry experience towards her new role, including 21 years of experience within both the brokerage carrier sides of cyber insurance.
From 2002-2008 she served as Assistant VP at Arch Insurance Group, and then moved on to serve as Assistant VP for three years at RLI Insurance Company.
From 2011-2013, Shepherd would serve as VP at SH Smith & Company, before moving on to serve at RT Specialty LLC for several years until eventually joining Great American in early 2018.
Further, Great American recently promoted Thomas V. Colosi to Divisional President, Alternative Markets.
