Reinsurance broker Guy Carpenter has named Matt Petka as President of GC Access North America and Branch Manager of the firm’s Dallas office, as Riley Underwood takes over as Head of Client Solutions for GC Access, effective immediately.
Guy Carpenter launched its GC Access unit in 2020 to provide dedicated MGA program business solutions.
According to the broker, the practice continues to offer fully integrated and bespoke services across business planning, program carrier selection, capital advisory, and modelling support.
Petka brings more than 22 years of broking experience to his new role, and first joined Guy Carpenter as a Managing Director at GC Access in 2021. Previously, he was an Executive Vice President at Willis Re, where he had a focus on MGA and program business.
Underwood brings 11 years of experience to the role, and first joined the GC Access team in 2021 as a Senior Vice President, having also previously worked for Willis Re.
