HDI Global Specialty SE, the specialty lines insurer launched collaboratively by Hannover Re and HDI Global, has added Simon Hunt as director of finance and operations, effective immediately.
Hunt will be based in the firm’s London office and will also join its UK executive team.
He joins from RSA, where he served for eight years, most recently as finance director, commercial.
“Since the beginning of the year we have been able to bring a wealth of expertise into the organisation; Simon adds to our now established strength in depth,” said Richard Taylor, HDI Global Specialty SE UK Managing Director and a member of the UK Executive Board.
“With the UK leadership team now complete, we can focus on operational improvement and strengthening our competitive position in the market. It is essential we have the right talent to execute our strategy and deliver excellence to our clients and brokers.”
