Texas-based insurance brokerage Higginbotham has appointed Ted Dimitry to lead its energy and marine practice, based in Houston.
He will be tasked with serving upstream, midstream and downstream oil and gas companies in the region.
Dimitry has 23 years’ experience as a commercial property & casualty broker specialising in the oil and gas industry, and most recently served as Vice President for the Energy & Marine Group at Alliant Insurance Services.
He also brings experience in managing team of more than 15 employees producing, marketing and servicing energy and marine accounts at large insurance agencies with Houston branches.
