Global re/insurer Hiscox has appointed Marlon Williams to serve as a senior property underwriter within its Hiscox Re & ILS division.
Williams holds close to 20 years’ experience in the industry and joins from Markel.
He most recently served at Markel as Senior Vice President, International Property Cat Underwriter.
Prior to this, Williams spent time as Catastrophe Analyse at Alterra Capital.

“His talent and international experience will enhance the already strong team we have at Hiscox.”
Williams’ appoint follows the announcement that Kathleen Reardon is set to succeed Mike Krefta as Chief Executive Officer of Hiscox Re & ILS.
Reardon had most recently served as the CEO of Hamilton Re, the reinsurance arm of Bermuda-based Hamilton Insurance Group.
