Howden Re hires Tan from Aon as Director, ASEAN Treaty & Retro

Howden Re, the reinsurance arm of the global broking group, has hired Doreen Tan from Aon Reinsurance Solutions Asia as Director, ASEAN Treaty / Retrocession, based in Singapore and reporting to Stephen Warwick, Head of Treaty for Asia Pacific.

In her new role, Tan takes on responsibility for servicing clients and markets across the Asia Pacific region as part of the reinsurance broker’s expanding treaty reinsurance unit dedicated to the region.

Tan brings more than ten years of actuarial and reinsurance broking experience in Sydney and Singapore to Howden Re, most recently serving as a Non-Marine Retro broker with a specialist focus on Asian property retro at Aon Reinsurance Solutions Asia.

Earlier in her career, Tan served as Head of Analytics / Actuarial Services and as a Treaty Broker at UIB Asia.
