Howden Specialty has appointed Surya Wijaya as Divisional Director to its growing Natural Resources division in Asia Pacific.
Wijaya will be based in Singapore and report to Matt Savitt, Head of Natural Resources, Asia Pacific.
He brings years of industry experience, having held roles at Aon, JLT and Marsh JLT Specialty over the past eight years, following a successful career in the banking industry.
Wijaya’s was most recently Head of Downstream for Willis Singapore, where he was responsible for handling a number of major energy accounts in the region.
He will access both local and regional natural resources markets, in addition to working closely with colleagues in Howden Specialty’s other hubs in Miami, Bermuda, London, Luxembourg and Dubai.
