Howden TMEA, part of the Hyperion Insurance Group, has announced the appointment of Serge Calfa as Regional head of treaty for accident/life and health reinsurance treaty business.
Calfa’s appointment complements the expansion of its regional reinsurance TMEA team.
He has over 20 years of experience as an insurance and reinsurance professional in the GCC and the Middle East markets.
Primarily, Calfa has specialised in building reinsurance programs in health and life risks.
Calfa’s career includes time at Munich Re, where he was Senior Manager for over 13 years, and EC3, Brokers for just under two years as Regional Director.
