HSB, Munich Re-owned specialty engineering and technology insurer, has announced the appointment of two new Business Development Managers, Ross Tyler and Sharon Evans.
As new managers, Tyler and Evans will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with brokers, growing the engineering insurance and inspection business portfolios, overseeing renewal of existing key accounts, and negotiating new business opportunities.
They will also focus on implementing HSB’s sales strategies in all its distribution channels to support its corporate objectives and growth ambitions, the firm stated.

With a wealth of experience and knowledge of the market, they will be key in helping HSB achieve its strategic goals and sales objectives and I look forward to working closely with them to achieve our business growth ambitions.”
Tyler brings over seven years of experience in the insurance sector, and he will be primarily based in East Anglia and the Home Counties, like Buckinghamshire, Surrey, Berkshire and Essex. Tyler has worked across all commercial lines areas including property and casualty, fleet, construction and inspection.
Evans joins HSB with over 30 years of experience in the insurance sector, her career includes broking, underwriting and sales roles across brokers, MGAs and insurers. She will be based in Yorkshire and the North East.
