hyperexponential (hx), a technology company providing an agentic platform for underwriting work, has entered into a partnership with Novacore, an independent specialty insurance managing general agent (MGA).
The agreement will see Novacore consolidate its admitted, non-admitted and reinsurance programmes on hyperexponential’s platform, with the aim of giving its teams a centralised view of pricing activity and portfolio performance.
The companies said the arrangement will cover all 20 of Novacore’s specialty programmes. These span several areas of the insurance market, including specialty transportation, real estate, alternative risk, social services and reinsurance.
Implementation is expected to take place over the coming year. hyperexponential said the majority of Novacore’s programmes are expected to be operational on the platform during that period, while the remaining programmes will be added as the relationship progresses.
The move is intended to replace the use of separate systems across individual programmes with a single platform. hyperexponential said this will give Novacore’s teams greater visibility of performance across its wider portfolio and support the identification of issues and assessment of rate changes without some of the technology constraints associated with maintaining multiple systems.
Darren Govender, Chief Product Officer at Novacore, commented: “Bringing our admitted, non-admitted, and reinsurance programs onto a single platform is an important step in enabling Novacore’s ability to continue to scale in a profitable manner.
“Our actuarial team can efficiently build, deploy and govern pricing and underwriting models across all our programmes in one place whilst also having close to real time insight of key performance indicators across the portfolio.”
Aaron Miller, CEO of Novacore, added: “Novacore was built to be a forward-thinking, agent-friendly specialty MGA. That means scaling smart, pricing sharper, and being the partner that sets the pace rather than waiting on it. hyperexponential gives us one foundation across admitted, non-admitted, and reinsurance, so we can spot trends early, respond deliberately, and stay ahead of the market for our agents and carriers.”
Richard Gunn, President at hyperexponential, said: “We’re proud to partner with Novacore. The old model treated pricing, rating, and portfolio visibility as three separate problems. Novacore shares our vision for one agentic platform: where portfolio signals reach underwriters at the moment they’re pricing, not in a report they check later.”
